Game Ball

Drew had a big day today, first a "sneak peak" at Crockett. The parents stayed in the cafeteria while they took all the kids on a tour. He got to hang out in a kindergarten classroom and take a look around. If you don't know, Drew is a huge Preds fan and first thing when we walked in, he saw one of the players, Greg DeVries #7, maybe Drew will get in his son's class and they can talk "hockey". Drew is very excited about starting school.
Then Drew was off to pre-k and then home to have a short rest and then off to the ballpark. Drew had a great game. He went 3 for3 and made 3 awesome outs while he was playing 3rd base. 3 up, 3down! That's my boy. The coach gave him a new nickname, "Hoover". He said he was sucking up balls like a Hoover vacuum. The coach always gives out a game ball and tonight it was given to Drew. Needless to say, he was very excited. This is his second game ball, he's getting quite a collection (like his Daddy).
Fun times!

Here's to good friends!

Andy and I were lucky enough to have Dale and Shelly Davenport and Scot and Heather Baker over for a cookout this past weekend. With everyone's busy schedule, it was nice to get babysitters and just catch up. I laughed until my stomach hurt! Dale was our live entertainment. Heather always comes prepared with her camera. You should have seen us using the timer and trying to make a good picture. Thanks Anna Claire for letting us prop the camera up on your kitchen.

Sweet Angel

This was Drew after his game, they are so sweet when they are sleeping. Notice our new addition to our Webkinz family he is holding.

Drew's 1st Baseball Game

Drew had his 1st game this week. He was a little nervous on the way to the game but once we got there it was game time. He went 4 for 4 and scored every time, he even hit it to the fence. He played pitcher, short stop, outfield and second base and made lots of stops. Go Rangers!

Can we get any busier?

Wow, this week has been busy! We started our week off with a playdate with Kathryn at Chucky Cheese then back to our house for dinner. Dropped the kids off at school on Tuesday, Yipeeeee and then got to spend the day with Shelly Davenport and Heather Baker. Yea!! for adult conversation. And then there was Wednesday. We were at the gym by 8:30 to relieve some tension, then back home for Anna Claire to be evaluated by TEIS for her speech delay. Anna Claire was so awesome, she did everything the lady asked her to do, it took an hour and a half. She also delivered good news to us, she doesn't really feel like Anna Claire needs therapy. Go Anna Claire! After that we were off to Crockett to enroll my baby boy in Kindergarten, he was so excited and sad he couldn't go to class. Back home to prepare to teach Bible class tonight, cook dinner and then head to church. The rest of our week is hectic also: drop the kids off at school, take Kramer to the groomers, clean house, pick the kids up, pick the dog up, go to Andy's double header softball game, take Drew to ball practice on Friday, buy Drew another Webkinz for good behavior, opening ceremonies on Saturday morning then back to the ballpark at 3 for his first game, church on Sunday morning, nap in the afternoon, back to church Sunday to teach Children's Bible Hour and sometime this week try to take my dog to the vet because all his teeth are falling out, yes, you read it right, his teeth are falling out by the handful. The sad thing is, Kramer will probably have to wait till next week.
